AWL Blades Portfolio
Some of my past projects
Quality is my number 1 concern. I may not make a lot of things but the things I do make are made to the best of my ability with the resources I have available. If I'm not happy with it, it doesn't get posted or sold. Below is just a small sampling of what has made the cut (no puns intended). For a fuller catalog of what I've done and to see things currently in work, check out my Instagram page.

The File Knife
Blade made from an old Nicholson File with Cocobolo Handle. This was my first commission as well as the first blade I attempted a hamon.
Viking Tomahawk
My first axe! A folded mild steel head with 1095 HC bit. I carved norse runes in the handle to wish its new owner prosperity and safety.

First straight Razor
Wheel bearing outer race turned into a straight razor. Stabilized/dyed maple scales held together with brass pins.
One of my first damascus knives
1095/15N20 layered damascus in a stabilized handle with green metallic resin. A stainless pin and lanyard hole with a hand tied paracord snake knot finish this one off.
